Wasabi Prawns

This is a simple dish that can be knocked up in minutes. Serve them with your fav low carb side or on their own. Totally delish you will want to eat a lot so be generous with the portions.

Equipment required

1 medium fry pan or deep fryer

Shopping list for 2 people as a starter

250g green deveined prawns with tail
1/4 cup of gluten free flour
Sea salt
1 tsp of wasabi paste (or to taste)
2 tbsp of mayonnaise
Slurp of water
Coconut oil or oil of choice for frying

Method to the madness

Wash the prawns in cold water

Sprinkle with sea salt

Season the flour with salt and dust the prawns all over

Heat the oil to a medium high heat, you will need the oil to be 1-2cm up the edge of the pan

Fry the prawns until golden on both sides, approx 2 minutes

Drain the prawns on kitchen paper

Meanwhile mix the wasabi and mayo together, add a slurp of water to get a runny consistency

Plate up the prawns and drizzle with the wasabi mayo
