We don’t drink juice in this house, we sometimes have smoothies, mainly veg based. Juice only happens on the rarest of occasions. My son was absolutely delighted to try this ‘juice’. He loved it, as did I. Let me know if you give it a go. I can’t tell you exactly how good it is for you, but with the list of ingredients it must be!
1 hand juicer
1 zester for grating
Shopping list makes just over 1L
1L of filtered water
2 tbsp of finely freshly grated turmeric
Pinch of black pepper
2-3 tbsp of manuka honey (depending on how sweet you like it)
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (with mother)
Juice of 1.5 small lemons
Juice of 2 large oranges
Method to the madness
Peel and grate the fresh turmeric
Juice the lemons and limes
Add all the ingredients, only 2 tbsp of honey, into the blender and blend on high for 30 seconds until well combined – taste for sweetness. Add more honey of desired.
Store in the fridge until use
