Sweet & Smokey Chicken Wings

Sweet & Smokey Chicken Wings

I have had an affection for chicken wings since I was young, blame my mother! These are delightfully spiced and very morish. As we all know eating low carb can be expensive, so using cheaper cuts from time to time can ease that pressure.

Equipment required

1 plastic bag
1 baking tray

Shopping list for 2 people as a light lunch or snack

4 lrg chicken wings
2 heaped tsps of smoked sweet paprika
1 tbsp of milled flaxseeds
1 tsp celery salt, ground corriander and sukin (or other low carb sweetner)
Oil of choice, I used avocado oil

Method to the madness

Preheat the oven to 180C fan forced

Mix together the spices, flaxseed and sweetner

Place the chicken wings in the plastic bag and slosh them with your chosen oil, move them around in the bag so they are evenly coated

Sprinkle the seasoning over the wings and shake the bag to make sure the spice is also even

Place the wings on a baking tray and bake for 30-35 minutes

Serve alone or with some yummy sides, I had some leftover coleslaw and olives with cheese

ENJOY!
