Asparagus & Sweet Tahini Dressing

Asparagus & Sweet Tahini Sauce

This is a simple quick and easy vegetarian low carb dish. The sauce also go well with different meats if you are a carnivore at heart.

Equipment required

1 medium deep based sauce pan
1 small mixing bowl

Shopping list for 2 people

1 bunch of fresh asparagus
2 tsp of tahini
1 tsp of balsamic vinegar
1 tsp of maple syrup
1 tbsp of water
Good pinch of salt

Method to the madness

Half fill the saucepan with boiling water, cook the asparagus for 3-4 mins until tender but not soggy

Refresh the asparagus in cold water, drain

Mix the ingredients for the sauce together, spoon it over the asparagus
