Garlic Prawns


Garlic Prawns

Delish sweet prawns with a creamy sauce, the perfect pairing. An excellent dish for when you feel like something a little indulgent.

Equipment required

1 small fry pan

Shopping list for 2 people

200g of raw prawns, deshelled, if they have tails get a little more
1 knob of butter
2 cloves of garlic
2 salad onions
1/2 cup of light cream
1/2 cup of water
1 tsp dried or fresh dill
White pepper & salt
Squeeze of lemon, to taste

Method to the madness

Devein the prawns, finely dice the garlic and salad onions

Heat the pan to a high heat, add the butter, once the butter is frothing add the prawns

Cook the prawns until they just turn pink, remove from the pan, turn the pan to a medium heat

Add the garlic to the pan, fry until it gets some colour

Add the cream, water, dill and seasoning, reduce the mixture to your desired consistency

Return the prawns to the pan with the salad onions and a squeeze of lemon, taste for seasoning

Serve over your fav non starchy veges. ENJOY!
