Garlic, Rosemary & Lemon Nuts
There are several great reasons to roast your own nuts. You can control the salt content, you know what goes in them – no nasty oils like palm oil, best of all you can create your own flavours. Super easy and quick to make, you really never need buy packet nuts. Use whatever nuts you like and get creative with the flavourings.
1 lrg non stick tray
1/2 cup of hazelnuts
1/2 cup of almonds
1 tbsp of olive oil
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of fresh or dried rosemary
Squeeze of lemon
Sprinkle of salt
Method to the madness
Pre heat the oven to 200 degrees
Coat the nuts in the olive oil, rosemary and garlic powder
Bake for approx 10 mins, keep an eye on them so they don’t burn, turn them once or twice
Once cooked spritz with a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of salt. ENJOY!
