Chunky Tomato Sauce
I make this when I have left over cherry tomatoes. It has a really nice kick, but the best thing is you control exactly what goes into it. You can use this just as you would normal tomato sauce, it is even nice chilled with cheese on a cracker.
1 small non stick saucepan with lid
150g cherry tomatoes
3 tsp of worcestershire sauce
1 tsp of sweet chilli sauce
Salt & pepper if desired
Method to the madness
Simply halve the cherry tomatoes and add all the ingredients to the pan on a low heat, keep the lid on for the first 5 minutes
After 5 minutes remove the lid and turn the heat up to high, watch the mixture at this point and stir frequently so it doesn’t catch the bottom of the pan
Once the mixture has achieved the right consistency, it should not be watery, remove from the heat. Serve hot or cold. ENJOY!
